Competition

2. ) Competition in our society functions in such a way that if it is disrupted the whole system would be corrupted. As competition  excels in our society it can be healthy for us as individuals. For example , without the competitors of other schools , our baseball team would have no body to challenge, and without the challenge there is no reason for a baseball team and there is no way in growing as an athlete. Also, competition can be unhealthy for the human being because many people are obsessed with winning at everything they try which could lead into an unhealthy life. The reason it could be unhealthy is because if that is all the individual focuses on, their personal life could be destroyed by losing all of there friends. Competition is apart of our society and if disrupted, it could not be fixed

My School

18. ) If I could change two things our campus , I would change how football is the only sport the school actually cares about. First I would make cheerleaders go to all sporting events and second make the staff attend more than two games a week. Also i would make each game one dollar per person to increase the fundings of the particular sport.  The second change I would make to our campus would be how impersonal our teachers are to their students they have for nearly a year. I would challenge the teachers to have a conversation with each student they have everyweek. If I could change tow things at our high school, I would change the impersonal staff and equality in sports.

10. )  Advice, the best advice I have received lately is don't give up by my best friend. The reason why he said to not give up is because I have been becoming frustrated with my teammate and I was thinking of quitting. After he told me not to give up, I thought of my sister and how I told her that same thing before I left for school , and that simple advice pushed me to not quit. Now I have this simple piece of advice wandering in the back of my mind which will push me to never quitting at anything I will do in the future all thanks to my best friend. My best friends have helped me throughout my life, but the one moment I will remember the most, is when my best friend told me to never give up.

7. ) The one thing I would introduce to a primitive culture, is the ability to purify water. The reason why I would introduce the purifying system is because the water the cultures are drinking is most likely harmful water that bacteria and viruses dwell in. Also I would introduce the knowledge on how to purify water because the purifying system would save an abundant amount of lives by producing simply clean water that our advanced society has had for many decades. In conclusion, the one thing I would introduce to a primitive couture is the ability to purify water to defend innocent lives.

Education

19.)     Education is important to all, but I feel whether or not you have to go to school is the person's choice.  If they don't want to go to school then it's their choice to not be an educated person.  The function of education in our society is to mold the young of the world into people who grow up and can do what they want to do.  If the decision to go to school was up to the child, our society would become a lot less educated.  Not to mention our status as a country would plummet in ranking  of economy and many other situations.  If the mass of the country wasn't educated, we would end up in anarchy because the only the smart survive.  So in the end the choice of going to school should be up to the child, and if they choose to not go then they choose to be a prisoner of the educated peoples minds'.

Dogs (:

20.) If I had the ability to talk to animals, I would choose to talk to dogs. One reason for my decision on choosing dogs is that I would like to understand what goes on in their minds, as when they hang their heads out of the window.  Also I would like to be able to understand what they want and if they're content with their lives that people provide them.  If I could talk to the dog I have then, I would try to find ways to relate to her, and do more activities with her to please her.
